    Short term Steering wheel swap

Hey just looking for quick advice. Sending off my B8.5 S5 flat bottom steering wheel out for carbon fiber makeover but since it's my DD, I need to source out a steering wheel to have in the meantime.

Located one for very easy price to swallow on local Classifieds... But from a B7 A4. I know it's a very different steering wheel (4 spoke, different shaped airbag, etc). But I don't need (or will chance it without ) an airbag for the 3 weeks, I just need to know if that replacement will literally bolt up ok And allow me to drive in a straight line with some occasional turns!?

If so, it'll be worth the buy. Thanks in advance

Yes the steering wheel should bolt up fine as far as im aware, id imagine youd have some sort of warming on the dash though with no airbag connected.

Probably goes without saying, but you will need a scan tool to clear the airbag codes when the new wheel comes in. I unplugged a passenger air bag warning light for a few seconds and had a warning light that wouldn’t go away without being cleared.

Thanks for The input! Glad it's gonna fit. If it doesn't it wouldn't be the end of the world for the few bucks it's costing.

As for the airbag light... Ya I realize that's an issue. I don't have a tool but have a guy with one so shouldn't be a huge problem. I can handle a light in the meantime

    Cheers
