18x8” Winter Wheels, 225/40 or 235/40 Performance Winter Tire?

Have a set of 18x8 wheels I will be using for my winter setup. Trying to find pros and cons to both tire sizes (225/40 or 235/40) and any pics of these winter wheel/tire setups. Don’t want to be over stretched but also not too wide. Will be purchasing Michelin Alpin PA4’s.

Any commments and pics with these tires and wheel size is appreciated.

you wont be stretching them, technically 225 will give you better traction than 235
