As pointed out they are HID bulbs not LED. We canít run LEDís without running resistors and frankly I think HID output is better. Have used TRS before for all my Audiís and my wifeís Mazda.

Ok I only ask because i have a friend that installed the Kensun conversion kit and seems to love the difference in his Cadillac STS

Also, I have a C6 with C2S bi xenon hid bulbs...So it didn't occur to me why I was having problems with the D2S firing in the Allroad because it takes a D25 single beam bulb.

    :-)

Many people want to believe their led conversion looks better because they spent the money, think color change is a difference in light output or replaced old aged bulbs (xenon bulbs age) so they did see an increase but not because the LEDs are better.

Bi xenon is a function of the projector not the bulb d2s bulbs are used in both bi xenon and standard low beam only.

Problems firing is not necessarily a bulb issue, it could be a ballast or wiring, xenon lights are very sensitive to voltage when initially firing, too low and they may not light.

The morimoto are good for the price but not necessarily the best. I used them in my beater TT.

The normal color temp osram (or) or Phillips are better choices.

Whatever you do source them from someone like TRS above not even places Amazon cannot be trusted. Fakes are everywhere even of the morimotos..

fwiw in my experience the LED may seem brighter however the light does not travel NEARLY as far as a good xenon or even a halogen bulb
