    Rims finish is damaged

Ok to you detail gurus out there i need some help. I have 2017 Audi S6 with stock 20's. I bought the car used, but appears the prior owner may have sprayed too harsh of a chemical on the graphite looking portion of the rims. It is only noticeable up close, but you can see discoloration. I am wondering if there is any kind of polish or neutrializer i can use to see if i can bring them back to life? Otherwise i guess i have to get them re-painted or deal with it.

Not sure if you have pictures the post, but they are likely not going to be repairable.

Often times very acidic products that are put on wheel stain and discolor the finish permanently
