I was curious at who else used E85 in their daily driver, and what kind of MPG you're averaging? How does it compare per mile when using e85 versus 91/93 octane?
For the past month I have been running exclusively E85 since I can get it down the street from my house. I drive a stock 14' A4 auto, and have been averaging about 18 MPG. That's typically a lot of highway/country road driving. When I would run 93 octane I would net around 23-24 mpg under the same conditions.
Pump price for 93 here in Pennsylvania is $3.60/gal which is about $0.16 per mile
Pump price for E85 is about $2.60/gal which is about $0.14 per mile
