    Wheel Recommendations?

I've been looking around for 20x9.5 wheels but I thought it'd be easier to find a good one if I asked you guys. Many heads are better than one right?

I would recommend you consider smaller wheels a they both ride and handle better. Just got home from the 1,500 mile TT East road trip where I had to put the OEM 20s on due to the amount of rubber on the tires and could not wait to get back home a slap the 19s back on the car.

Hmm I have 4k miles on my car and I didn't really mind the ride but since both of you agree, I guess I'll settle on a 19

Love a 19, 18s work nicely also, better tires options at both smaller sizes also.

19x9 or 9.5 and 18x9 or 9.5 are both fairly common, I personally have a 19x9.5 with a ET of 45. 255/35/19 fits nicely can also run 265/30 or 2750/30 both work also.

    Wheel Recommendations?

I love my 20x9.5Ē HREís. They werenít cheap but you get exactly the fit you want.

I have no issues with the ride though I donít put on lots of miles. Still, no issues with ride quality.

Very dependent on your own local road situation but I too prefer 19" over 20". I really think that's the sweet spot in both performance and aesthetics for this vehicle. To my eye the 20" approach a 'cartoonish' look. But of course a very subjective item. I also prefer 5-spoke, with either solid or split spokes. Hartmann and BBS come readily to mind. The thread Chuckster linked should be helpful. Whatever your select make sure the front rims in particular clear the large brake calipers. Even my OEM 19" rims have minimal clearance.

It depends somewhat on the car. The larger 8 pot brake calipers on the TTRS make an 18" wheel fitment not impossible but difficult.

For sure, I know of a few 18s that will work, you can almost fit a BC forged 17in over the brakes but the brakes are just a little too big and rub.

Tire Rack has like 64 19s but only 3 18s for the TTRS.

Yep, most of the cheaper options need spacers because of the offset not being correct, however, there are plenty of options if you know who to talk to! Mops@Nemesismotorsports is the man to get in touch with.

What car do you have uwu? That link Huey52 gave for the Hartmann were a wonderful set of wheel to look at.. but I hear the TTS needs 3mm spacers, and the TTRS needs 12mm spacers - since the brake calipers have changed since my 2017,

Good topic, I asked the same thing. I ended up going with 19x9.5" +45 because I wanted to be able to swap the tires I had on my stock 19's over. I went with the 9.5" mainly because I wanted some concave to the wheel so it didn't look so flat. Let me tell you....I waited 2 months on these and I am glad I did. Seeing the concave made it worth the wait. I just got them on Wednesday so I am working on getting them on the car, along with painting the calipers and coating the wheels with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour.

As far as brands and such, I went with Vertini RF1.1 in gloss black. These are rotary forged wheels and weigh in at 22 pounds. I am not sure what the factory ones are but I would say they are close to this weight. I will post up some pics when I get it all done.

Let me know if you would be interested in mine. I just bought this one year old TTS with 20" RS wheels. I would like to go down to 19" or maybe even 18" for more rubber.
Tires have less than 10% wear.

I'm partial to 20's on this car. Popped on some 19's from my A6 and 18's from my daughters and just didn't do it for me. Ride quality can be greatly influenced by tire choice. Swapped my OE 20Y wheels on Pzero Corsa's with these 5 spoke 20's on Sumitomo HTR Z III's and the road manners are a VAST improvement. Side wall on the Corsa is much stiffer and going from 255/30 to 245/35 also added a bit of sidewall and "theoretically" better MPG. Very pleased with the drive-ability after a 1500 mile road trip. Decided to save the OE's with Corsa's for track days ;)

After more research I found that these are 8.5" in the front and 9.5" in the rear both with a 265/35-19 tire. This configuration required a 5mm spacer in the front and an 11mm spacer in the rear.

What are those 5-spoke 20" rims pictured Metihd? They look great and fill the wheel wells just right.

Well the other set of wheels posted above turned out to be Schmidt revolution drago... they were 20x9 and I was hoping for 19x9.5. So I'm back to square one.
