So many questions but let me start with these
    1. roc intake. Could you tell any difference on whatever tune you had already?
    2. on your turbo swap...what tune or how you going to tune for them
    3. steering wheel. More details please. is that going in? will it work? costs.

    Looks pretty sweet thus far

    1. Cant really tell with an intake. Even 50hp would be less than a 10% gain. Hard to tell. You can definitely hear the difference.
    2. Running Apr Stage 2. I'll eventually flash the APR bug turbo file after all the fuel upgrades: lpfp, hpfp. Check out Silly Rabbit motorsports.
    3. The FBSW is from Europrice. They make them to fit whatever car you have. Check out their site.

I honestly don't know much about it other than it will be available to the public this year. I do know you'll need to prove you have all the hardware upgrades, roughly $10k-$12k in parts, to be able to flash the file. I plan on at least 100 Oct fuel. I have easy access to 100 and 104 Oct, so no need to mess with e85.

    2. I know u did the roc intake but I thought I saw somewhere someone else developing one. Silly rabbit maybe ?? Are there others out there ? Just seeing what options are out there.

Hit up silly rabbit for the intake and tcu tune. They offer both.

Posted this on FB as well. The B8/8.5 transmission insert fits in the S8. The ones made for the C7 ZF transmission won't fit. Shifts are much crisper, well worth the $35 and 10 mins to install. I got this one from Amazon.20190316_161536.jpeg

USP Motorsports also makes an air intake. I put it on my 2017 S8. I have a Miltek non resonated exhaust so its hard to hear, but when I do it sounds amazing. Between the APR Stage II, the exhaust, and intake, my S8 put out 675 whp on the dyno.

    A few things done recently:
    - Milltek exhaust, Resonated, titanium tips. After reading all the posts about the valve failures, I left the valves unplugged and used the exhaust Sims. The res version is quiet enough to not need the valve feature.
    - SRM intake. I figured I'd try it out to match the larger GTX turbos. A little quieter than Roceuro. Shameless plug, check out the classifieds for the Roceuro for sale.
    - R1 Concepts rear rotors. I got these from Amazon. Cheap and good quality. They come with pads and sensors. I ended up using Wearever gold pads. The slotted look matches my Girodisc fronts.IMG_20190703_211931.jpegAttachment 130383IMG_20190706_120705.jpegIMG_20190706_201050.jpegIMG_20190706_201038.jpeg

Quick update after a few days with the Milltek. The sound is perfect right now, louder than stock with no drone. Still tempted to try out the non-res section. Also, turbos seem to spool a lot quicker now. I had a feeling the OEM chambered design has its limits. I drive a lot more with the radio off now, turbo spool, woosh, and pronounced V8 sound are music to my ears.

I haven't switched yet...maybe sometime in the next month. No vids yet either, all existing Milltek videos on YouTube are pretty accurate. Deep, no rasp, and no drone, pretty quiet inside the cabin.

Thanks! And congrats on the beginning of your journey. If you're thinking of a tune first, maybe wait a few months as there are more tuning options in the works from SRM. Nothing wrong with APR, but for years they were really the only good option for the S8.

I have visited the SRM page, and not a lot of detail yet, which sounds like they are in the early stages here? Told mama that I had to take a trip to vegas, I had about 20 grand to spend, she was like OH HELL NO. lol

Yep, to do it right the first time you'll need to drop about 12k for new BB turbos, tune and DPs. General maintenance items sneak up on you too. I can't wait for the new RS6 to drop in the US.

SRM can be challenging to get in touch with sometimes, I'm sure they will get back to you or perhaps try following up again?

The SRM intake feels stronger in the mid-range than the roc euro, but that's just from butt Dyno data. You definitely need some patience with SRM, but worth it when you get your parts.

Hey guys. It's been a while since I've posted. I have decided to sell the S8 and everything with it. Those that have followed this thread know what I have installed to date. I started pulling off some of the parts to part it out, but I thought maybe someone might want the while thing. I'm just going to throw this out there loosely this week to see if there are any serious buyers. Whole car plus all the goodies, SRM 2867 turbos, downpipes, APR stage 2, Loba HPFP, SRM intake, FB steering wheel, Vossen wheels + OEM wheels, SRM driveshaft carrier (BNIB), ported TB, Milltek exhaust and more.

If you're serious or know someone interested, please PM me, don't reply in this thread.

Local buyer highly preferred since there is so many parts that come with it. I won't post a price here, but we can work out the details of you're serious.

It sucks to have to get rid of it but I had to move on.

How much for the ported throttle body? Did you notice any gains from it? Also how about the drive shaft? Did that add any rattles/vibrations?

TB has been sold already. I never installed the driveshaft carrier, it's still brand new.
