    Hey guys,
So ever since I saw the s4 b9 I fell instantly in love with the fender emblem accent. I find it makes the car look super sleek and sporty. I always wondered why they didnt mimic this on the a4 line...

So I'm wondering what you guys think. I planning on buying a set of the side emblems originally for an s5 and customizing them to fit my car. Now I know what most of you will say " how? The s5/ a5 have it flush and integrated in the body..."
I know I know. But my plan is to grind down the underside to be as flat as possible and then over lay it using 3m tape on top. Wont be flush but I'm okay with that.

What do you guys think? Bad Idea?
Here's what it would look like on my car

If you want it that bad, Iíd consider doing it right with new side fenders that have the indentation and just forget that part on the door. Either way, are you just going to keep the S4/S5 emblem in there? Upbadging is pretty dicey IMO. Also IMO, I never really liked this faux vent. Itís just took much of a copy of a Tesla or BMW. To each their own though.

Ya I understand. The door and fender indent I through out the window from the start... the fender I doubt will fit out body.. I was hoping to grind the emblem flat and stick it on...

Oh, I thought the B9 S4 had those things too. I see now that it does not.

Itíll look good if u have the skills to do it well. Iím not sure what you mean by grinding down the fender (it isnít your fault, itís mine. Iím not very mechanically inclined).
But in the first pic that you photoshopped, it looks nice. I like it.
