    Recall?

I got a recall notice in the mail yesterday on my '17 A4. The auxiliary after run coolant pump can over heat and start file. They are
advising not to park the car in the garage until fixed. Until new parts are available, they will disconnect the pump. Not sure I want that either.

    Anyone else get that notice?

You know, I'll have to take a closer look at that when I get home. I just saw it stated it was for 2012-2017 models and assumed it was for my latest. But it might be for my 2014 that was totaled.

Same exact thing for my 14í they had a temporary fix that essentially shuts off the auxiliary unit. They didnít have the part in even though they said they would when I dropped it off for an oil change. I might just wait until the full hardware is available to get the recall 100% taken care of

Yes, my mistake, this was for my 2014. On my initial quick look, I saw that it stated model years between 2012 and 2107. but this was for my last A4 which was 2014.
    Sorry for the confusion.

lol my lazy a$$ never checked.... GUILTY.

This recall was never done on my 16' b/c with the remap in the ecu for the new software and unit for the coolant pump- service manager thought there was chance they would over write my APR software.
