3.2 Intermittent No Crank, No Start Issues

Started a week or two ago with no recent issues or other changes - car stopped turning over one morning. After fiddling for about 10-15 minutes it finally started and ran just fine.

Took it to the dealer - and as is tradition, it started fine for them. They pulled codes and replaced the MAP sensor and it was starting fine for them. The day I get it back the issue popped up again - hoping to get some leads on what it might be before I take it in again to get it looked at.

Here is a video of the no start. Everytime I turn it to the on position, I hear a little noise (possibly fuel pump priming?) but turn to start and it doesnt even crank. If I turn to on position and leave it for a bit - it gives me 3 beeps of the warning noise (like low fuel or service beep). Yesterday it started up fine all day - today it is back to having issues.

Any thoughts on what it could be? I am in Florida - so lots of rain and humidity, but its been down here a few years.

Trying to pull codes - unsuccessfully with my old cable - do dealers usually send a list of codes if you request it?

    Cheers

    Sir,
Check electrical connections, starting with your battery cables. BTW, if your battery is near 3 years old consider a replacement (expensive but 1 less headache and may solve issue)

You might have an oil leak. I went through this specific thing with my 3.2, wouldn't start consistently all of a sudden and the culprit was oil leaking from my valve cover gaskets onto my starter. This prevented my starter from not starting the car intermittently, clean the starter and you'll be good to go until you fix that leak.

Working on checking the electrical - battery is a few months old, and once it cranks it runs fine so not thinking it is the issue.

Re: Oil leak, the dealer had it up on a lift, I imagine they would have seen it once they took the body panels off the bottom, they didnt mention anything but I can take a look.

Ignition Switch - any good way to check this? Would it be intermittent?

Dont count on the dealer seeing anything and yes ignition switch can be 50/50.

It could be literally the smallest of leaks (which was the case with mine). Once the starter was cleaned, my car has had no problems starting and its been about a year.
