    Hey all,

I’m looking to sell my wheels (with tires). I had these wheels refinished last year and they are in perfect shape. The tire size is 285/35/21 and they have 10k miles on them.

GLWS, just out of curiosity did you ever have any rubbing issues with the 285/35 profile as it is a lot bigger than 275/30

Very little and from normal driving there’s no rubbing at all. I prefer the thicker sidewall for better ride comfort and more protection so the wheels don’t crack (these wheels are notorious for cracking!)

Just noticed, your in Maryland. I am in MN, looking for a set of winter rims like these...will probably get 20’s on my new RS7.

Just got on this post...saw you note on mufflers. Did you ever change it on your RS7?

You can get winter tires on these rims and run it on your RS7. There are several forum members that have done it.

looks like the 35 profile really eliminates all wheel gap?

How did the 285 fit on the 9 inch OEM wheel?

Everything fits just fine. Yes, wheel gap is eliminated in dynamic mode on stock height and you get a much softer ride. 30 sidewalk is far too thin for the DMV roads

Is the ride really noticeably softer? Thoughts on the performance of these tires? I would buy only the tires if you were interested, local to Philadelphia.

I definitely noticed a more comfortable ride with the thicker sidewall. I currently have someone interested in the complete set. If that falls through, we can coordinate something.

If cam buys the tires... I'll consider just the wheels! Keep us posted
