couldnt find any so i decided to make my own.

not perfect but alot better than zipties by knees

    enjoy:

grab a spare piece of trim from junkyard $2
get some 2" pcv pipe $5

bust out the good ol angle grinder and fiberglass.
make them fit and clocked how you want, fiberglass the inside, resin the outside
hit with a wrinkle coat paint and then you are finished

*was too anxious to let the paint dry so i need to respray it......oops*

This is super cool, I was thinking a lot about gauge pods for my B5 project and I chose to go with the ones that mount in the little driver-side defroster vent on the dash... wish I had done something like this, looks nice!

Good positions for guages.. i saw the first pic and thought this was going to be a dumpster fire but it turned out good.

I like it but you have to choose a better paint. I would go non textured. The rustoleum bumper and trim paint matches our plastic interior parts pretty well.

Thanks for the advice. I have to respray it anyways because I touched it when it was wet. Ill sand it down and give it a go as well as post a updated pic

you gave me a pretty good idea for making pods that go into that spot and you would simply screw them on. thanks for that.

Yup, I have the ATI Dual GaugePods.

I like how your sit though, lower and more spread out. If I ever got a gauge from VavjettaAW36 to replace my clock/date indicator in the gauge cluster I couldn’t see it due to the position of the gauges.

Also when fitting the AEM gauges ATIs cup does t allow for them to be secured other than using adhesive to glue the rubber grommet to the gauge to make it work... they haven’t moved or popped out yet though!

Ouch; yeah I dislike the position of them. Need to be lower imho.

Next level necro-bump… I realize that it’s been like 7 years, but is there any chance you still have the file for this?
