    Rear ashtray lid

I'm looking for a rear ashtray lid, if someone has one laying around from a part out or something. Bought a carbon trim set, and I had factory fishscale. The rear ashtray lid on fishscale is not removable like on the others(carbon, wood trim). So I just need the lid, without the trim. Attatched. Thanx

Yes, you can remove the fishscale trim from the lid. You need to carefully bend the tabs on the bottom of the lid and the trim slides out. Then you can apply (glue/tape?) the carbon trim onto the lid.

Yep, I had to do this with mine. Not too difficult of a job at all, I think there are 4 or 6 tabs and then it slides off.

I don't wanna break the pieces off the trim that mount it, and just glue it. I know the fishscale comes off easy, I had it off. Thats how I knew it was different. Want a lid to mount it correctly, thats all.

But I can't mount new piece(correctly) without cutting the little nubs off my trim, and glueing it. Don't wanna do that.
