Water into trunk - S5 Coupe

To all the A5/S5 Coupe owners, have you encountered this issue where on a rainy day the rain that collects on your trunk would not drain properly to the sides and just leak into your trunk when you open it? I think this was a bad design...

I have a 2014 S5 and does the exact same thing. Luckily it's never dumped water on my laptop.

Yes, that happens. Make sure you open the trunk slowly when water has collected on it. If you open it too fast, then there is too much water flowing down and it's not draining fast enough and flows over into the trunk. It is a bit of a design issue.

Heard about this issue via the shop thatís works on my S5, supposedly Audi is aware of the problem and made a deflection device thatís protects those costly electronics. It could save thousands ask the dealer about the part and the proper name for it.
