    Audi A4 B5 1996. Steering wheel

So im driving an Audi A4 b5 1996. I have the old style steering wheel. My friend gave me an Audi A4 B6 steering wheel. It doesnt fit, the centrer is too big, (bolt) He has an Audi A4 b5 1998. And the S-line steering wheel fits on that car. I want to put an S-Line steering wheel on my car aswell. What should i do for it to fit? Is there some kind of a adapter to change the size?

You would have to change the entire steering column because the center spline that it mounts on as you noticed is a different size. You could probably find it for cheap from a 2000-2002 b5 in a salvage yard.

Itís not difficult to replace the steering column, unless youíre just a lazy sort of person.

There are also adapters to step up from small to large spline.

What is the size of your current column spline?
