Hmm what to do, not sure what winter wheels to go with. I have already purchased option A for a steal of a deal locally, 19x8 ET26, RS5 type replacement.


However another set popped up locally, Which I kind of like more. S5 wheels, 19x8.5 ET32

Time for the wahmbulance Fall is my favorite time of the year. Favorite time to fly fish and be in the mountains, snowboarding season is right around the corner and I usually get some early season days in November. Just bought a new mountain bike, and there's a ton of good terrain and trails super close to my house, and the oppressive mid day heat is lifting. 2 days after I bought the bike I found out I have a fully torn rotator cuff, and need surgery sooner than later. Scheduled it for 10/9. Such a buzzkill. Trying to keep it in perspective. At least it should force me to have a super productive 4th quarter with work, and it's early enough that I should get most of the snow season in after recovery. Shoulder has been hampering me at the gym, and everywhere really, so it will be awesome to have that fully functioning again.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the shoulder, but glad to hear you're getting it repaired right away. I've had both of mine done so can fully relate to the pain and lack of range of motion. My first ortho doc referred to the procedure as a, "shave and a haircut." I was one of five he was doing that day. It's incredible how common it is. After my second, I showed up to a gig at the Ritz-Carlton wearing my shoulder sling, only to find three other cats in the band were doing the same. Anyway...all the best!

Ha, that's awesome. I had the other one done 10 years ago, so I sorta know the drill. Last one was a mini open repair, but this one will be arthroscopic, so I'm hoping and assuming it will be a quicker recovery. Thanks!
