Audi virtual cockpit - Google Earth becoming unavailable in 2020?

    Hi everyone,

I was reading about Audi Connect, I guess I was bored or something. URL: https://www.audiusa.com/technology/i...e/audi-connect

Because I was bored, I decided to click on "View key info". This resulted in a page with a bunch of disclaimers, etc. What really caught my eye was item number 4:

"4 Online services are subject to change at any time. Google Earth™ features will not be available after December 2020 for MY2018 and older vehicles.

So.... I hope I'm missing something..... In other words: In slightly more than 2 years, my car will loose Google Earth???

    Update:

After a few messages back and forth with Audi, it seems clear that:

1: Google Earth *will* become unavailable for model year 2018 and older vehicles at the end of 2020.
2: Audi may or may not (they are being ultra non-committal) be looking fore a possible solution

This has been discussed in length in the Audi Customer Experience sub-forum: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...odels-or-older
