Wow. Stumbled on this chat last night. Slow reader here but read all 723 post. Finally done and I appreciate all the work many of you are doing, money contributed, and ongoing testing on these cars. Very exciting.

Im in the same shoes as the guy above me. Just found this thread and read every last post lol. Finally the B8 RS4/RS5 is getting some more parts!! I seriously hope you guys make some headers for this car. Or at least the option to send the headers/cats in so they can be hollowed out.. Like what you guy did with the B6-B7 "piggies".

The Rs3 has been out for like 2 years and there already a million parts for that car. I know its alot easier to make turbo cars fast, all you need is a tune and downpipe. The Rs5 has been out since 2012 and theirs only a limited number of catbacks, downpipes, intakes, and tuning. And from what ive heard the only tune thats worth it is the JHM one. Cant wait too see what you guys put out for this car its very exiting. I know the Rs5 is very high compression but is there a supercharger on the list too??

That's just how it is with NA cars. To make more power requires different internals in an NA engine. Sure, a tune helps correct the "de-tuning" from factory, but the fact of the matter is that you will always have more mod potential with an aspirated vehicle. Adding a supercharger to a late model Audi is a task that costs over $20,000 and is not worth it.

We tend to enter these markets. NA cars are harder to make fast than a turbo car, so most companies stay away or put forth little effort into the platform. We've always had a soft spot for the 4.2L.

Yes supercharger is also on the list

So far all of the blowers we offer are under 10K

To purchase, yes. Does that include installation and tuning?

Installation is typically around $1k unless you DIY (instructions included) and tuning is included with the supercharger purchase.

Whatís the ETA on the supercharger? J/k Itís crazy how many times youíve been asked the eta of something or the cost of stage 2. Anyway sounds like you have a mega list for projects on these cars. Good luck.

    Hah yea!

I did just test drive our RS5 with our TCU Software though.

PS: Exhaust Crackle tune is made and ready to be tested next...

I didn't do any runs, although I did some nice pulls. I was mostly giving feedback on part throttle shifts.

My plan of upgrade is in the following order. Rims, suspension, exhaust, donate more plasma, JHM stage 1 (from my initial review on ECU upgrades), some weight reduction.. thatís as far as I can go for now. Maybe stage 2 way later down the road.

Nice!! Have you seen our new RS5 Lowering Springs? During my test drive earlier I drove over a pretty beat up old frontage road and the suspension took it like a champ.

JHMs superchargers have always been considerably lower price wise then the competition. There B7 RS4 blower is $5750.. The AMD supercharger is $13k. Yes JHM does use the centrifugal supercharger which are generally cheaper kits and dont build boost as fast as the roots type of supercharger but the price difference is alot. The AMD is twice as much.. If I remember correctly when it was on the market the APR blower was even more then the AMD I think like $15-16k. If you ask me the JHM supercharger is a steal at the current price. I cant wait to see 400+ whp RS5s

Just checked it out, good price. Iím thinking the labor cost to install Coilovers will be the same for springs and I like the flexibility of the Coilovers. Looking into the KW V2 for now.

Awesome! I want to test this out! Will this replace the TUNE file, or can you load JHM TUNE and JHM TUNE with crackles as well as it has map switching?

How was the car with the TCU tune?!

I know its about 50/50 in regards to who wants the extra sounds but I'm 5000% more excited about the 8750rpm option file - is this still in the works as well?

Will the crackle tune come at the cost of mpg or performance?

Velocity quote the noise comes at the expense at of throttle response in some situations.
I accept a Stage II tuned S5 is quicker than an RS5
    Doug convinced me
He's also the reason I don't come here much

On few cars, crackle and pop happens when engine braking. Hopefully initial throttle response for acceleration is not compromised.
