Buying 2015 A3- First time buyer

Its my first time buying an audi. I am really excited but at the same time, I want to make sure the car I get is reliable as well. I am considering buying a CPO 2015 A3. I'm wondering if there are any major issues with this model? I do see some for less than 18k but the mileage is between 50-60k. Would it be a bad idea to buy a CPO with that high of mileage? I'm under the impression if something does go wrong, it'll be covered under warranty for the next few years. Lastly, the ones available in my area are around 19-21k range (how much can I expect to negotiate on them? Let me know what you guys think.

I got mine with 75k for 15,400, had it for 2 months so far everything has been fine. If you have a good warranty though you don’t really have anything to worry about, i only had a 30 day warranty but everything on my car looks brand new even all the suspension so mine was well taken care of

Ive had mine just under a year, 2015 A3 1.8t....replaced waterpump a few months back, which is a common issue and now I'm waiting to hear about an alternator fault that occurred yesterday on my way to work. Bought it w 45k and now has 57k....just FYI, the repairs are not cheap compared to domestic cars. I love the car but not thrilled to probably be buying a new alternator right before Christmas either. I was spoiled w my 2013 Jetta that has basically been bullet proof at 112k miles and no issues....I understand things happen w cars, but owning a higher end car definitely means having higher end repair .... lol...good luck.

I only know about slightly newer/lower mileage ones.

    Last month I picked up a 2017 A3 13,000 Miles.
It's CPO so it came with 46 months unlimited miles left on the warranty.

Unlimited miles sounded too good to be true but it's in writing on my contract.

The warranty was very important to me as I am nervous about the cost of repairs.

I don't know if all CPO's come with unlimited mileage or only because mine was relatively new but maybe that's something to look into?

The CPO program does indeed seem to be too good to be true but like you, I couldn't pass on it. I bought an '18 with 2700 miles, nearly 10k off msrp, and 51 months left for the CPO...the kicker is I drive 30k miles a year. Meaning I'll have the bumper-to-bumper warranty up until 130k miles.

Right besides the savings off of sticker you would have gotten a 50K mile warranty instead of 130K. I don't drive as much but still I'll have 78,000 miles before my warranty runs out
