2019 RS3 order guide - CANADA

Hey all.

I just got my guy at the Audi dealership to e-mail me the order guide for 2019 RS3 in Canada. He's not really sure why it took so much longer for the Cdn guide to come out compared to the US guide...

Anyway, just like the US version, Catalunya Red has been replaced with Tango red. One difference is that now the RS design package is available for 2019 that was unavailable in Canada for 2018 models.

I'll be placing my order soon. Looking forward to having my own after creeping the forum here for the last little bit.

We'll see if they stick around this time. Those seats were also an option on the 2018 model year, at least on the guide I had from around February 2017 but were removed sometime later. I don't believe anyone who ordered the power seats actually received them.

They do, but it's gonna run you $1700 for all 4 vents. Insane lol.

Not too sure but I'll be at the dealer next week placing my order for a 2019. I'll see if I can find out more and report back here.

I don’t think anyone has a confirmed delivery date for a 2019 yet. They had to make some changes for the new emissions testing and they stated earlier in the year that cars wouldn’t be shipping until early in the new year. We weren’t sure if that included North America but seeing as how it has been this long, I think it probably does.

I'd be reluctant to put my money down on a 2019 without hearing one first. It could be neutered...

Proper RS design package, looks like I thought they had the diamond stitch motorized seats, and the wireless phone charging.

There are no diamond stitch (super sport) powered seats, anywhere. They don’t exist.

Wireless charging is nice... in theory. Every car I've been in that has wireless charging takes forever to charge the phone. It moves up 1% every 10 minutes.

I suppose itd be good on long trips, but in day to day life it charges too dang slow.

Update:

I talked to my Sales Adviser today. He informed me that he is currently unable to place orders for 2019 cars yet. He's inquired to Audi Canada about why he can't place any orders and the answers they have given him have been very vague to say the least. He told me that he would keep me up to date on any developments but as it stands, orders are not being accepted for 2019 MY RS3.

I spoke to my SA today and he said the same thing except from what he has heard, its not the WLTP holding back the shipments, its that there are actually too many 2018 R3's sitting on dealer lots. Whether or not that is the truth is up to debate, but right now if you check out the Audi Canada website, there are 90 RS3s available across the country. Going through the list of currently available units in Ontario alone, some have been sitting on the lots for a looooong time too...some upwards of 250 days.

What color of black? I've sat in a 2019 Mythos with black optics so I know in that color they exist.

Laval is one of the biggest seller in the Canada, they’re easier to work with as they’re willing to move units.
