    Hello,

I've searched and searched on this forum and others and I can't find a definitive answer. '01 Allroad A/T, I can't seem to get the cluster to show me the actual mileage of the car though it will show me the two trip odometer readings fine. When I first got it, I Did see that number, but since then I have deleted the suspension module, and tried to code the car so that it would no longer search for this module, but have obviously failed. I offer this with the idea that perhaps this is why I can no longer see the mileage indicated? The car was not running at the time of purchase, had to convert it to coilovers.

Any thoughts? VCDS cannot find the mileage either. TIA

    Hello,
First...make sure battery is at full charge.
Hook up VCDS, Autoscan. Let autoscan go through its full iteration, save, exit.
Go to applications, EDC15-16 mileage, and wait. you should get mileage readout from the ECU/ECS in both miles and kilometer. If not, you have bigger problems than an instrument cluster not reading out.
Go to "select control module", instrument cluster and see if you get a readout of mileage than corresponds to ECU/ECS.
Was instrument repaired for pixelation or other faults? Was it adapted properly?
I don't believe that the suspension module affects mileage readouts (could be mistaken though).
    hope it helps.

    Watcher,

Thank you for the reply... I checked the mileage in -some- manner via VCDS before with no luck. I will follow your description to the letter soon and will report back. Thank you again.
