As far as brand reliability - top notch. Does it have all the channels you need?

Depends on how I want to run my audio. Itís six channels so I could have it run my fronts/ rears and sub if I use the speaker component crossovers.. or I can use it to to power my front highs and mids separate and the mids in the rear then another amp to run a sub... I donít need a lot of base want more SQ then anything.. and I want my trunk space so thinking of running a free air sub in the rear deck.. or a sub inclosure in one of the side compartments.. I really love the quality and sound image dynamics put out but I donít think they make a free air sub.

Keep in mind, the Helix P series amplifiers come in 6 and 8 channel versions. Plus they both have a line output for a separate subwoofer amplifier....

    Very flexible

If you can get one for a decent price, grab it. I used to have a Helix DSP and it was a great piece of equipment. Really easy to use once you get the hang of it, the software is really nicely set up and the manufacturer updates it a lot of the times based on user feedback. I have used a JBL MS8, Audison Bit One.1, Alpine PXE-H650 and now a Mini DSP 8x12 and the Helix software is by far the nicest to use.
