    Portland International Raceway

    A festival celebrating German brand automobiles! Expanding the Rose City Bug In to include all Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche vehicles, their enthusiasts and car club members. Car show, swap meet, 1/2 track day and drag racing too! There will be several food vendors including Urban German providing authentic, delicious German bratwurst variations. German beers will also be available for enjoyment. Peoples' Choice Awards for the car show - make sure to get a separate ballot within each car corral.

    Spectator Tickets $15 - Available at the gate (Entry 9am)

    1/2 Day Track Day (morning) $150


    1/2 Day Drag Racing Tech Cards (afternoon): Available at the gate
    - German cars only
    - $50 for P1 Class: ET times 7.50 Ė 13.99
    - $40 for P2 Class: ET times 14.00 Ė Slower
    - $35 for Open Class/Test & Tune
    - Tech Card good for Late Night Drags that night too!

    i really want to do the drag race. is it $40 for 1 go down the 1/2 mile? i have no idea how fast a stage 1 chipwerke s4 is in the 1/2 mile.

    It should be 2 or 3 passes to get your dial in time then single elimination after that. It will be the 1/4 mile though not the 1/2 mile. I'm not a 100% sure but if you want to do the road course, I think you got to go through that $150 class first. Then it's broken down into beginner, intermediate, and pro. I'm going to this, but I may just do the test & tune then stick around for late night drags. Haven't decided yet. I was told yesterday the drags should start roughly around 1:00 PM.

    lol i got the 1/2 confused 1/2 mile. didnt realize it was an actual contest. shit id be eliminated very quickly lol. how does the test & tune work. is that more you just going for your own personal time?

    Yes on the Test & Tune part. As far as the ET racing goes you never know. It will be a staggered start so everyone is competitive.

    Cool event. Lots of awesome Audiís etc. Enjoyed watching a white S4, dark grey S5, & Jetta wagon drag. Crazy fast. Iíll post pics on Monday.

    That freaking JSW was just nuts with how fast it was.
    There were some solid contenders but just not enough overall to make it really interesting

    Chuck's wagon is pretty neat. They just put a new motor in it after blowing the first one a few months ago.
