Breaking News: ABT Power upgrades now also available in the United States

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Nemesis Autosport is proud to offer ABT Power upgrades to the US market for the first time!

We have personally tested these upgrades on the B9 S5, RS5, and RS3 over the last year consisting of extensive mileage, repeated GFF logs, an RS5 dyno, and more. The kit looks and feels OEM, and they are of the highest quality we've seen. We have experienced no issues at all and no logs have shown any DTC's. It is important to note that these must use 93 octane fuel.

Our close knit relationship with ABT Germany allows us to be an excellent resource for all your other ABT needs as well!

Below you will find all the information regarding this product introduction and explains the engineering behind ABT's tuning philosophy.

Email or PM me with any inquiries: tommy@nemesisautosport.com

    Thanks all!

They didn't "crack the box". That's a piggy back just like DTUK and soon BMS.

Yea thats obnoxious for a piggyback. Maybe if they actually “cracked the box” and fine tuned it to 500hp+.... I could see that price. But for a piggy back?? Hold on while I just go set a pile money on fire

Oversight on my part. Abt like MTM have always commanded a premium price. TUV approval is expensive.

    Sorry for the delay!

It's a fairly easy install if you are mechanically inclined. Took us about a half hour.

The ABT ECU goes under the cowl panel on the passenger side right behind the firewall. Basically its sits where the soundaktor is.

The harness then runs down the right side by the positive battery terminal and across the front of the engine. The reason this is not your normal piggy back is because of the harness setup it comes with. The harness plugs into 4 key sensors (6 total) on the engine that feed the critical info to the ecu. This ins't just a box you plug in that turns of fuel, timing, and boost. It really is an almost OEM style stand alone engine management system

Here are the key sensors on the B9 S5:

So $1500 more than other piggeyback systems for similar horsepower, no thanks. If the $2500 included the warranty, that would be a good value but not $2500 plus another $600 or $1300.

I second this, They are nuts for asking this type of money for a piggy back. If warranty was included then yeah that's Gucci. But without it? Absolutely not.
