So ive got a slight problem. Both keyfobs dont work anymore. One was dead when i bought my rs6 and now the other one died too. New batteries in there, no change. To make things worse, my actual door lock in the driver door is seized. Tried penetration oil, no help.
    Whats my next step?
    Thanks, Joris

Using the key in the door lock obviously doesn't work? What about getting in the passenger side and opening from the inside? Nothing?

fob remotes have to be matched/programmed to the car
door latch issues, best thing to do is replace the whole assembly, an hour, hour and a half if you take your time

Probably need to go in through the trunk lock, since there's no lock cylinder on the passenger side.
Also need to re-sync the remote after the remote batteries are replaced, which may require a repair to the lock cylinder or recoding with VCDS https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...Battery-Change

Well duh. I totally forgot about that. Idiot.

    Trunk it may be!

I have had my remotes still work after changing batteries but it couldn't hurt to re-program

Leave a note telling people not to steal anything because your doors don't lock, that ought to do it!

I just replaced the ccm and everything is working again except for the fob. Canít lock or unlock, or open trunk. Tried the sync in the manual and nothing, new battery same nothing. Disconnect car battery still nothing. What do I need to do ?

I actually posted this in the wrong place and should mention I have an '05 A4 1.8T cabriolet.

If you have VCDS you can program to accept the remote in module 35 Ö http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...entral_Locking
