New owners, gathering couple questions

My searching session wasnt that good,
I was curious knowing a couple goodies:

Is there specific down pipe that are a waste versus other one? Are all down pipe used with cats or high flow?
Im quoted 2400 for an down pipe install, 4300 for stage 2 ecu and down pipe, 1300 for the ecu stage 1 alone (canadien currency)

The gain in between the stage 1 and stage 2 were like 20-30whp from what the vendor told me, better spool and consistent,

I bought the car with a magnaflow catback, it sound nice but way too quiet for my taste, im looking to amplify the loudness of it, I was thinking removing the reasonator maybe? Or if I end up going down pipe, is there catless option that wouldnt sound like shit?

What do you suggest me overall?
