Hey guys quick question, I wanted to install a toggle switch to turn on cooling fans and I looked at owners manual and around car but can't find any fuses or relays relating to them..Has anybody done this or can it not be done because of the controller that operates them...If it can how would you go about it...Thank for help...2011 b8 A5 2.0T...

Probably to have them running constantly even when at "normal temps" that the ECU turns them off at.

Hi thanks for responding, that's correct just to have them running full speed when needed..I have monitored them when idling and they hardly operate and when they did it was barley spinning, but when I kick on the AC they come alive. Even though my needle temp stays just halfway, the cooling system inside the engine bay just feels really hot, I'm sure that's normal but I would like just an override for the fans

The 5 series has always run hot, but I do understand why, it's a common thing in drag racing, etc to have an aux fan or secondary fan running. I will look at VCDS for some info, you might be able to alter it in there.

I'm interested in this too, My S5 stays at normal operating temp but in racing both track and drag I'd like it to cool down faster. seems like it retains a lot of heat
