B6 Brake Specs from Audi

Anybody know when Audi requires the pads and rotors on a B6 A4 be replaced? (percentage wise, ex. 50% left on pads) Thanks!

I have been told by our service advisor lady friend at Audi that they will cover the pads if they're less than 20% (ie 15% or so). However, if you let the brakes get to metal on metal, they won't cover the scored rotors. So, there is a fine line.

my front rotors were warped about 40-45k and audi replaced them under warranty but no new pads
