    2011 audi a4 b8

    Using my friends ecu tuned and first day tried it out check engine light and epc light came on ran ok. When i started the next day and tried to floor the gas all the way and the car just rev at 4000 rpm and cant go higher and my speed is also not going any higher? Any possible ideas?

    If you have the gear selector in Park, the RPMs will not go above 4000 and also your speed will not increase.

    Why are you turning the car on and flooring the gas? At least let it warm up first!

    If you have a check engine light and EPC light, you need to get a code scanner and find out WHY the light came on. Then address the problem. Do not just assume that since the car seems to drive fine, that it is OK. If the light is on, there is probably a good reason for it. Go to a local auto store that can scan codes, or buy a code scanner yourself for cheap.

    Pretty sure he wouldn't be doing that in park if he says the speed isn't going any higher.......

    Using your friend's ECU? This sounds exactly like a half done immobilizer delete.

    I just changed the coilpack oem to r8 ignition upgrade kit so far ok i will update if anything

    He gave you a half immo delete ECU, your problems are directly from this.

    Alientech doesn't make tunes. Kess is a tool made by Alientech. Sounds like he's rocking a clone Kess since the V2 represents the software not the tool they're on V3. Overall a POS tool IMO, even with the real one, which costs thousands of dollars. If he's using a clone I wouldn't trust him to tune your ECU, especially if he let you drive off with this solution. Just my opinion.

    Should only take 15 minutes tops after the ECU is pulled to install tune on it.

    Yes that what i think also and whats the casuse of the epc light on? Everything is off execpt that? Is it because its a different vin#
