Don’t see why it wouldn’t but curious if this compatible with divorced coolant loops such as awe cold front system? Otherwise looks great

Curious about this as well. I was looking at mine yesterday and it looks like the coldfront reservoir might sit too high for this cover to go over it

This is using the newest clear from our manufacture it's holding up great on all our test cars. If you have existing ECS carbon with yellowing issues please reach out ot my or my customer service staff (customerservice@ECStuning.com) so we can try to assist.

Haven't had a car into confirm.... yet, but I should have an answer rather soon. For my guys with cooling upgrades that add tanks/lines/etc in this area, I ask you to hold off for just a touch of time to avoid having to deal with returns.... or just go for the gusto and my CS staff can assist after the fact.

James are you in the FB group?

I've already wet sanded and applied a new clear coat on my spoiler from you guys. This is a pretty well-documented issue that seems to be overlooked by your CS/QA departments. I've reached out in the past and got nowhere which is why I decided to fix it myself.

There was a big thread in the FB group last week discussing this that seemingly got no input.

I'm not sure exactly what your job responsibilities or roles are at ECS but It'd likely be a good idea to improve your presence.

This is a pretty clever cover but unless the clear coat issue has been addressed I will not be purchasing it.

Does this fit the S5? If not when will you release one for the S5?

Can you take a pic of the “Yellowed”CF pieces? I want to completely CF my engine bay but this post has me debating now. Is it a problem with all brands of CF under the hood or brand specific due to product finish? Thanks and sorry to hijack the thread.

Mine was a "scratch and dent" but did not have clear coat issues. Was just a small scratch in the corner.

You can almost completely avoid yellowing if the Carbon Fiber part is custom made with the intention of it being in the engine bay and exposed to extreme heat. There’s special epoxy that can be used and other measures taken to prevent yellowing. You can also add some Cquartz Pro ceramic coating as well to help keep the parts looking good.

    Otherwise it’s tough to avoid.

Not sure if anyone else feels the same way but I think ECS could have made this piece a lot better if they just kept going a little and covered the coolant expansion tank....I would pay almost double the price of this piece if they offered it

I also feel like they really miss out by not designing these cool one off pieces to fit the most popular performance mods as well as the OEM cars....I’m sure there’s no shortage of volunteers to bring their modded cars in for fitment

There’s gotta be at least 3-4 pieces that I wanted but couldn’t purchase because they won’t fit with my other mods and I know that there are plenty of other peeps like me out there

    Still love ECS....Just saying

I picked one up for my S5 since it doesn’t seem like a priority for ECS to test fit a part that would probably take 5-10 minutes

Should be able to test it out on Friday

Finally had time to test it. Yes it does fit BUT it is extremely tight. The cover literally sits flush on the reservoir after properly installing. I don’t know if that will have an impact on the cover or pump while driving or vibrating while the engine is running. Here are some pics:
Also a huge thanks to ECS for helping me test out a great product.

Introducing the new ECS Carbon Fiber Left Side Engine Bay Cover

Did you have a hard time fitting the clips into the pre-drilled holes on the bottom? I actually broke the plastic bracket trying to install. I haven’t put it on but it seems like it will be very difficult to remove once on...the C clips onto the cooling line is crazy tight. I assume you want it to be snug but I had issues trying to install.
