Recently had KW V1 coilovers installed. Love the change, but may need to raise the height to accommodate loading up the cargo space in the Avant during trips.

Does raising the perch to raise the vehicle height compress the spring and reduce travel??

You'll raise the shock + suspension higher in the travel, so you'll change where it sits in the total realm of travel but overall total travel should not be changed. You should hit the bump stops and/or bottom out the shock before you bind the springs up (at least unless something is really screwed up). Now if the V1's have a shorter shock stroke then stock, then you've limited total travel.

Side note, can these do higher than stock ride height?
