Car is IE stage 2 104 octane with a little ethanol mixed in for good measure.

    IE Prototype RS3 Downpipe,
    IE intake,
    Iroz Intercooler.

We did some weight reduction to try to help with the DA, but nothing crazy- seats out, light battery, light cat back.

We also had a bit of a dilemma with going all out because of the rules of our local strip....
Faster than 11.5 requires 5 point roll bar according to NHRA rules, our track is very strict about it's safety rules. When we ran 10.7 in the GTI they told us to not run again.

12 second run was a test hit, didnít want to get kicked on first run. 10.9 was second run launch wasnít as good. 11.007 was great launch and run but we let off at 115 mph to try and keep in the 11.00 eliminations we were running in, but ended up getting walked by the tree.

Thanks! We like to think so too!

And yes, they are still in development phase right now, with a few kinks being ironed out in the design - but we will indeed have them, AS WELL as downpipes :)

DA of 2,869ft based on 82% humidity, 44F (the time of the run), 30.09 barometric pressure, relative density of 91.87%. Personal best trap 118.94 mph backed by 118.93 and a few 118mphs **also ran 11.7's several times

    Confused
How did you go from 86mph to 124mph then down to 113mph?
    Assuming here,
12sec/86mph was on the stock tune? (@ 4:38pm)
    11sec/113.6mph stage 1? (@ 7:11pm)
    10.999sec at 124.6mph was stage 2? (@5:36pm)

Can you disclose every detail about what was all done to the car, in each run?

Sorry, getting old dumb, old dumb and broke...

Would have been fun to see this car go up against Jason's RS3 in Sacramento.

We had thought about going all the way to Sac to run with everyone this past weekend, but it would have been like a 20 hour trip and we didn't really think to plan for something like that until it was too late to actually do it.

One of these days soon I reckon we'll be out with everyone.

great numbers considering the weather conditions!

What is very surprising to me is the incredibly strict interpretation of the NHRA rules. "Unaltered Vehicles" made after 2008 at most tracks can run as fast as 10.00. The definition of altered is up to the track to decide, most consider that to be back half Cars, significant frame modifications, engine swaps Etc. This is the first track that I have heard of that considers a tune and bolt ons to be "altering".

you can trick the system and run N/T (no-time), you'll still get a slip, but the time won't show up displayed for all to see. That's how the fast GT-R's run at my track, or really really really deep tint.

Pretty sure the dark tint is what allowed us to go again after that 10.9 run. We'll see on the next open track night, I'm gonna send it after it gets cool and they'll probably get mad at me, but I'll have a rule book there and point out the rules and see what they say.

The track officials still know the ET, most of the people that run clocks out do it because they are Street Racers or they run heads up and they do not want people to know what their car runs.
