B8.5 RS5 Stainless Steel Brake Line Install DIY anywhere?

I have looked around and haven't come up with a vid or DIY on an install for stainless steel brake lines. I saw the install sheet for B9's from 034 motorsport and assume it's probably close enough, but anyone have anything to point me to?

On a related note, my friend gave me his front rotors and Hawk CP pads from his R8. These only had 2,000 miles on them but they were used. Swapped those on as it was time, but since then it's felt a little spongy, not awful, but feels different for sure. We didn't crack the lines open or anything. I plan on doing the steel line install and doing a fluid swap and figured I'd see if that fixed the issue, but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas beyond just bleeding and seeing from there.

If the spongy pedal was right after install, I'd guess it's the pads. When he gave you the pads, did he mark them Left/Right, Inside/Outside? Even after 2k of mileage, the pads would have been bedded to the specific sides of the rotors and would take a while to get bedded again if they are not installed in the same positions again.
For the Brake lines, just look at an install for a B8.5, doesn't really matter if it's a A5/S5/RS5/A4/S4. It's pretty basic and a easy install. The best is to have a pressure bleeder and not a vacuum bleeder for sure. Bleeding the brakes is a little different from the old conventional method, here is what the shop manual says:
"A pressure of 2 bar is required to bleed the hydraulic unit -
N55-. For this reason it is important to always check the
pressure setting on the bleeder unit."
    "Bleeding sequence
    1 - Front left-side brake caliper
    2 - Front right-side brake caliper
    3 - Rear left-side brake caliper
    4 - Rear right-side brake caliper"

No, he did not mark the pads, so yeah, what you are saying makes sense for sure.

I bought this kit to do bleed the brakes as per Red Mist Racings video: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-motive-p...el/motive0109/

Motive and the Schwaben are both good bleeders. What pads were you using previously?

OEM rotors and pads. Pads were toast.
