Question Activating or Adding AFS ?

So I'm assuming the answer is no, but I have an 09 A6 with Bi Xenon headlights. The housings look identical to that of the AFS models but there is currently no AFS active. I was wondering if there was a way through VCDS to activate it, considering its really just turning on the inside bulb when turning the car. And if it isnt as easy as a software thing I'm assuming a headlight swap would be pretty tough and expensive start to finish?

    Activating or Adding AFS ?

AFS is not turning on the inside lights when making a turn. It is actual movement of the bulb when turning the wheel. The headlights would need to be AFS lights (separate connections and motors for the movement of the bulbs). If you donít have those, then that would be the first step in a long and expensive conversion.

If all you want is more light when turning a corner, you can code the fog lights to activate on the side that the turn signal is activated (when the fog lights are not on).

My car, along with the side-to-side motion of the projectors, also includes a bulb that lights up when I make sharp turns. It really help with my 15% tint at night on dark side roads when there are pedestrians etc.

I would be very interested in this coding as well. Im not super concerned with the actual lighting during cornering, moreso just want to maximize the equipment that i already have on board

I am going to have to do some digging in VCDS-MOBILE. I quickly looked at Ross-tech wiki and didnít see it. I am almost certain I saw it when I was playing around with the coding of my tail lights. That was a few years ago.
I will let you know what I find.
