    anyone else blowing hoses? S3 with APR Stage 2

    Edit - totally ignore this post. I decided to apply SCIENCE, and I measured shit.

    Turns out, wrong hose clamp. I wont go into the embarrassing details.

    Yup.

    Edit - also, deleted the post stuff.. so it makes NO sense at all now. :)

    lol... good mea culpa... I used to blow hoses on my A4, but that was BT at 30PSI...
    2015 S3: Uni Stage 2 ECU/TCU / Most of the 034 chassis and suspension catalog / APR Intake, Turbo inlet and Downpipe / ECS resonator delete / Neuspeed turbo muffler delete & discharge piping / 18x8.5 ET35 255/40
    2008 R8 V8 Manual: Uni 93 ECU tune / Avior Exhaust / 15mm Spacers / R8 Puddle lights / Custom mats
    1991 LS400: Literally every part replaced or modified in some way (24hrs of Lemons car)

    Ha!! Yeah, sad part is now I'm "gun shy" with the car. Even though the problem was a hose clamp 3in trying to hold down a 2in silicone hose connection.

    I solved the problem, but I fear the long skinny pedal.

    This is exactly where I'm at right now...

    Well, get over that fear. If you start tracking your car you'll really find the limits of the mechanicals. its 5x the load of street driving. If you race it, its 5x more load than just tracking it lol. I'm a big believer in having a real race car; it ends up being a LOT cheaper than putting your street car on the track.
