    B5 Turbocharger Part Numbers

I'm looking for a new borgwarner turbo charger for my 98 AEB, but there seems to be multiple turbocharger part numbers for B5..

Mine is a 1998, and the part number is 058145703L/058145703LX.

However, there is also these two part numbers 058145703J/058145703N which is what I'm seeing in most of the places online.

    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-borgwarn...58145703j~bwt/

Based on Audi, 058145703J/058145703N doesnt fit my 98 but ECStuning and Europaprts lists this for all B5's from 97 to 01 so wondering what's the deal here.

Is there really two different k03 turbocharger models for B5's?

To further confuse things, the Borg-Warner part number is the one that actually counts. Vendors could list that part under various Audi PN. All of those numbers listed could be the same BW PN. When I replaced the one on my AEB a year or so back, I ordered 058145703L/058145703LX from rmeuropean. From my notes, the 'L part was supposed to correspond to a K03-005 and the 'N/'J part was a K03-029. Although I ordered the 'L part, I ended up with a K03-029 anyway. At a guess, BW doesn't make the K03-005 anymore and all fulfillment of any of those parts is the K03-029. If I were you, I'd just go with the cheapest genuine BorgWarner with any of those numbers.

And you are already running K03-029 on your AEB which makes me feel confident to order the same for my car as well. Thank you for reply.
