Hello Gurus, my A6 3.2 Avant has been running great however I've run into a strange but expensive issue of Oil leaks from the Oil pan or Valve cover gasket, I'm hoping you guys will recommend a proper gasket that won't leak after 1 year. Now I will say that I'm not exactly sure where the Oil is coming from I'll know for sure in a couple of days, however, the maker of great long lasting gaskets should cover any gasket relating to keeping Oil in the car and not on my garage floor.

    Thanks
    Cloaked

My money is on the rear timing chain covers leaking. There is no gasket there, just RTV. If they have never been resealed, there is your issue.
If you find it is the valve covers leaking and you recently replaced the valve cover gaskets, then you may be looking at warped valve covers. I had a recurrent issues with leaking valve corners and it turned out to be a warped valve cover. Audi replaced them under my CPO warranty.

What Sin said above. And to add, if you've never replaced the oil filter housing gasket, that's another common leaker

I had the car at the shop for a few hours, they inspected and cleaned everything up but weren't able to locate the leak. I was told to drive it a few hundred miles and bring it back so I'll do that. I need to clean the spots up in my driveway so I can see when and if the drops start to fall. Thanks I'll report when I have an answer.
