    You use 3.0 Q5 pads, CTSV pads, 2008 STI pads, etc.

    I looked up a 2015 (last year) Q5 3.0t on Rock Auto for front pad options. Here are a few:

    Pagid (I believe the OEM pad for the Q5 3.0t) 35502331
    Centric (StopTech Street) 30816630
    PowerStop Z231663

    There are lots more, just a sample. As mentioned upthread, earlier STI & CTS-V pads work as well, but might not accommodate the wear sensor.

    Good advice. Just to clarify the pagid pads though are aftermarket pagid/hella pads and are not oem and are only fe temp rated. Brembopads are oem.

    If these will fit (which it looks like they will just without the wear sensor) it says the cars below also use them. Should help when looking for pads. If those won't fit let me know and I'll take this down.

    I was just passing along the description that Rock Auto had for this pad ("OEM - OE Formulated Friction Material").

    The actual Audi part number for these pads is 8R0698151L.

    Yeah i know and its misleading. Pagid is an oe supplier and they cross reference the oe pn but they are far from the actual oem pads. Theyre not even straight up pagid pads. Theyre pagid hellas. Trust me i bought them.

    They're ok for street driving but youll wear them out in a 20 min lapping session. They overheat relatively easily and i have rbf600 in there. Im probably going to swap them out.

    Here are the oem brembos

    That's for the comment - yes, the Allroad pictured in on stock suspension; I'm eyeing coilovers in the next year.
    The wheels are OEM "5-arm" design that were an available option in 2013; they are 19x8 @ et26 - tire picutued is a 245/40-R19.

    I got a set of these from 2018 Q5, not sure what rotor size they are but we will find out soon enough.

    Went from A4 320mm brakes, to S4 OEM 345mm Calipers and rotors and now If these fit they will be painted red and Sline decals will be installed on them.

    113$/pc. But I still cant confirm the Rotor size. I saw pictures of these on the 2.0T Q5 sesems to have 2 different options and this is the S-line one. the others look more like the B8.5 calipers with single piston.

    THese to me appear to be the same batch as the other ones people are using from Pre 2017 Q5s so they may have updated the design a bit.

    If you cross reference the technical specification of the 2018 second generation (FY) Q5's, the rotors are:
    * FRONT = 13.3" vented (338mm)
    * REAR = 13.0" vented (330mm)
    And there's no difference between in brake size the Premium 2.0T through the Prestige 2.0T sub-model trims.

    Also, it's UNKNOWN if the FY Q5's / B9's use the same hub upright for caliper mounting - be prepared that you could have just bought caliper paperweights.

    Good luck - I would want an update on these when you receive them and try test fitting.

    I got a chance to measure the new calipers against the ones that came off the A4 so the hole spacing and in general the offset between mounting surface and rotor is the same only difference is I think these will work just fine with the 340mm S4 rotors that I have on there now. WIll paint them here shortly and install. I will be sure to document the install.

    S4 rotors are 345mm. If these are spaced for 338mm rotors you may have to source other ones. Let us know how it works.

    Test fitted them, they do not fit on the 345mm rotors, certainly need to get the Q5 OEM rotors. Until then im sticking with the S4 set up as it is. Another concern is that the size of the caliper may hinder type of wheels I can drive on since its so thick outwards from the rotor surface. With that said IM not too sure if they will fit on stock wheels.

    CB seems to be the same at 66.6, and they continue to have a 5x112 bolt pattern. Stock wheels seem to be et39 -34, at least per the link below. Clearly double check.

    I think Yoto was trying to fit calipers designed for 338mm rotors with S4 345mm rotors. yes thats not going to work. I totally agree with you to try out the proper 338mm rotor.

    That makes more sense now that I reread that post. The first time I was under the impression that he couldn't find the right rotors, or just needed more info on the rotor specs. I love the Macan 345 upgrade, but like how these calipers look as well. From what Yoto posted, and the rotors I linked, I think someone could come away with this kit for around $600 before paint. Maybe less if you shop on the rotors.

    Then again, the 345s provide more surface area for just a tad more money. Admittedly, I don't think I would really notice the difference between the two in my daily driving.

    You are correct, so I figured there were 6-7mm larger diameter which results in 3mm larger radius and i figured there could be just enough space to fit the caliper with minimal or no rotor clearance but I was wrong. I think the caliper sits within 2-3mm from the rotor itself as it would not align to the holes however the side to side and hole alilgnment is absolutley correct so as long as I can find some 338mm rotors the swap will work.
    The hose attachment to the caliper appears to be the same as well.

    So I guess the B9 did not upgrade any of the key areas so we should be able to swap any B9 S4 or Q5 brakes onto the B8 and B8.5s with no issues. Only problem now is finding cost reasonable rotors. ECS has them but at almsto 600$ for the set of 2. Price is the same at the dealer as well.
    My S4 rotors cost me merely 109$ with free shipping for the set.
