If you have about six to seven hours to spare there is a pretty badass loop I do 3-4 times a year. But yeah it's kind of long

coquihalla is a nice road, then back on the hope- Princeton that would be epic, without traffic of course.

Vancouver to Whistler, Pemberton, along the Duffey to Lillooet. Then either continue to Cache Creek (adds an hour) or take Hwy 12 to Lytton, and then #1 through the Fraser Canyon and back home. It's about 550-600 km and 6-7 hours. The problem really is traffic, lots of scenery and tourists, I usually get going around 6am and then it's a gong show around Pemberton/Joffre Lakes area about 8:30-9 but clears up once you get past there. I've never tried leaving later in the day like 2-3 pm that may be a good option too. There are no roads like the Duffey around here though, you cannot carry the same speeds around here for even close to as long, and the scenery is gorgeous.

I'm in Blaine, and am in North & West Vancouver at least once a week on Tuesday afternoons. Agree with others here about the Duffy Lake road. Took it in my Porsche 993 a year and a half ago. I took the RS3 to Vernon, Nakusp, Revelstoke etc. last September. Lots of paved twisty highways with low traffic. I would try to attend a get together in Vancouver area sometime.

Sunday probably the best day with least amount of traffic. Joffre Lakes probably still be stupid but once you get past there should be good.
