Anyone here tried something similar to this setup?

    B8.5 S4

    Is it overkill?

Delete baby resonators, and straight pipe. Remove center resonator and add 11385 magnaflow x-pipe, and replace catback exhaust with magnaflow touring exhaust?

Just wanted to see if anyone had tried something similar to this and had an example of the sounds produced.

I will either need to replace the baby resonators with another set, or straight pipe as that is the problem piece on the passenger side downpipe, according to Audi.

For the price of all that, if just go with a borla, it's the cheapest full system

Internal damage in one of the baby resonators. So it's either replace them or straight pipe. I am getting the magnaflow exhaust and baby red for 700 cad locally.

Magnaflow makes a good resonator, whether you build a whole system or just replace the pair I have these and would recommend them. My system has a x these and a pair of Sebring tuning mufflers.

That is worth a try. I have totally stock exhaust on my 3.0T Q5. Quiet as a church mouse, despite my stage 2 tune. On other cars where I wanted a bit more sporting tone but without drone (a serious problem), I have had great luck with a similar product. It is the Vibrant Ultraquiet straight through stainless reso. On one tuned turbo vehicle when I went with a catless downpipe/racepipe I got a very strong drone, even though I still had the stock CBE. That Vibrant reso eliminated the drone without killing the sporty exhaust tone.

So, I'm wondering if merely playing with resos might be the best thing to do, since the system seems to flow quite well.

I’ll try to post a video from inside the car, the GoPro is acting up but if it works I’ll do an outside one too.

I took this short video from the BlackVue with the windows down until on the highway and the last part is the GoPro but was acting up so it’s short but you can hear the exhaust a bit.
