Anyone know what this white cable is?

I bought a pre-owned 2017 A4 and while driving I saw a little white cable hanging from the passenger side foot well. I searched the forums and couldnít find any thing. IMG_1332.jpgIMG_1331.jpg

Possibly a receiver for a remote or something else aftermarket

I donít see anything aftermarket in the car. I went through the entire car before I purchased it and I took it to the Audi dealership after for a full once over. Do you think itís not stock then?

I would go back to where you bought the car and have them remove it.....that doesn't look stock at all. Looks like the previous owner hard-wired something....could be just an extra phone charger or maybe a radar detector or something else. Might want to check the fuse boxes to see what it's been tapped into.....

There are a bunch of these under the carpet of the car.

I believe it has something to do with reducing static discharge(?) in the cars, that is what I was told.

Have you seen this in your own car?

Thank you. Makes me feel a lot better. Thought something was wrong with my car.

If that's the case then they are a grounding cable. Interesting.
