Worn out engine / misfire code?

Saw this on YouTube where it looks like he’s working on a B7, and says the engine’s “worn out” and nothing much you can do to save it. I had a similar misfire (except in cylinder 3), and replacing coil packs and plugs solved the problem. I’m at 52k now, and hoping my 5k oil change interval is enough to stave off my engine wearing out!

    Jeez is that guy annoying.
    Glad he's not my neighbor.

Usually all the cylinders wear at basically the same rate.
The only time I've seen one dramatically lower is from a broken ring.

I’ve seen several of his videos, some of which are useful if you’re not familiar with car maintenance, but man does he like bashing German cars.

not to mention he is just plain wrong . Just because you have a fouled plug, does not mean your engine is worn out. It can be caused be any number of things we are all too familiar with on this and the VW forums. I think he is doing a dis-service to those who don't know who might trade in there vehicles or dump them because of something like a PCV issue for example.

    he is a tool.
