BUMPER SWAP: POST face lift bumper/grille to PRE face lift S6 possible?

    Hey all,

I've got a 2014 S6 prestige w/o black optics. I found a gentleman selling a 2018 [post face] front clip [bumper and grille]. I'm wondering if I could clean swap the front end keeping my headlights. If everything would be plug and play. Most people usually do the RS6 conversion so I'm having trouble finding answers. If the bumper doesn't work, will just swapping grills work? MY headlights would remain on the car, so the only possible problem is bumper "fitting" not wiring etc.

    Let me know!

    Zach

Iíve had both, C7.5 and C7, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that you cannot just switch grilles.

Looking at one of the only pictures I can find, Iím wondering if the shape of the headlight housings may be slightly different, not totally sure but zooming in and going between the two cars I ďthinkĒ there could be differences but it may work?? Hereís a pic in case it helps any....good luck :)

Headlights are different as well and grille. New bumper would mean grille and headlights and possibly other bits.

As pointed out it's a lot of parts to convert from pre to post-facelift. Most importantly the hardest thing is actually the headlights. Audi changed how these are managed drastically. It requires a fair amount of wiring, new Central Elec module, new range module, component protection removed, fair amount of coding, it's really not for the faint of heart.

    Cheers,
