Replace or repair MAP sensor cable?

I got a P0237 code, which is associated to the MAP sensor. After following the cable to the ECM I noticed that there was a significant twist/opening in the insulation. Now, my question is whether it is possible to replace the MAP harness only, or would that mean replacing the entire ECM harness? I assume cutting and soldering the wire would work, but I like to do things cleanly if possible.

I repaired the cables. Our MAP sensor uses 3 wires in total. Repair was done with soldering and rubber insulation tubing. All working as usual now
