Oil cooler itself or the oil filter housing assembly.

Also, you're using the wrong coolant. It shouldn't be green, but a shade of pink.

ah yes... i filled my coolant with the UV dye because i didnt know g12 has UV dye already in it....

so when i added dye it turned the coolant from pink to yellow like that... i was very surprised.

so when i did the head gasket job... i drained the coolant from the lower radiator hose and flushed the garden hose water through the upper hose radiator side...

i dont think it flushed any of the coolant from the line that runs to the transmission... the hose that tees off the back of the head with the shitty plastic tee.

so when i start the car up i see the old yellow coolant leaking out and no dirty old coolant in the resivoir.... weird.

Replace the oil filter housing and oil cooler gaskets. Or, replace the entire oil filter assembly which comes with the gaskets.

i ordered the gaskets for the housing and cooler. should be here in a day or two. will post back then.

meanwhile im still getting error p2146 and misfires on cylinders 1 and 4 only. moved coilpacks around, cleared codes, no difference.

reseated the plug on fuel injectors 1 and 4. no difference.

battery voltage is around 12.3v car off. low voltage cause injectors not to fire?

Just go to the local auto part store and they will check battery condition for free. As you have already moved coil pack and checked, did you also try changing the spark plugs?

In the worst case, you have to remove the intake and check. It may be carbon buildup, jammed injectors.

I found out today that I'm having the same symptoms. I just rebuilt the engine so all the gaskets are new. I'm thinking its either a pinched gasket or I either overly tightened something/not torqued properly. I'll know more next weekend when I pull the intake off to see more about whats going on. Hopefully its nothing too serious like a head gasket. Let me know if you figure anything new out on your end.

im a fricken moron and had my alternator exciter wire plugged into my number 1 fuel injector... and my number 1 fuel injector plugged into my alternator LOL. no wonder why my car wouldnt charge and it misfired on 1 and 4.

then i went ahead and changed the seals on the oil filter housing and on the cooler.

i noticed the plastic had become very brittle right around the edges of the seal after 130k miles on this thing.

the edges where the seal goes, the plastic had started to crack.

    reinstalled anyways to try.

drove around my block 1/4 mile and when i pulled in my driveway she started puking oil and coolant again.

so maybe its wise to change the housing because if this sucker blows out on you in the middle of nowhere, youre fucked.

    god bless.
