    EGT Boards

    Gentlemen,

I have had the EGT code for a while now and I got a notice that the cars are to be E-Tested this year so I know it won't pass with the code there.

I got the boards from Andrei in the fall and am just getting around to putting them in now.

Problem is, can't get the boards out. See attached.

Do you know how to get this board out? It's not like the APB where I can just desolder the leads.

Also, while doing plugs, I broke this.

    I hate this T

Hands deep right now so any help would be great

De-solder the pins, and the board will pop out.

The tee is noting special, so you should be able to find one at your local Autozone.

It's a later style board. Actually I did solder a few of these..

Pop a small screwdriver under the board and CAREFULLY apply a little force upwards while desoldering the 3 pins. Apply some heat to all 3 pins quickly and the board will come out easily. This did the trick for me. The other side will come out by using the same procedure.
