Can A Bad Battery Cause CCM Issues?

I have been having battery issues for a while - since December.

Often requiring a boost to start the motor. If I leave my iPad on charge in the car while at work, the battery goes flat.

I have also had CCM issues.

Remote central locking not working, though works with key in lock.
Brake lamps flickering randomly, sometimes with the car locked.
Hazard switch often illuminating on its own.
Hazard lights go off if I unlock the driverís door, then lock it. Unless I flick the ignition on, then off.
Unlocking driverís door with key only unlocks the one door. To unlock the rest, requires ignition to be switched on.
Random centre brake lamp failure warning on DIS.

Yesterday, I replaced the battery with a new one. And I found out an hour ago, the key remote fob now operates the central locking. And unlocking the driverís door manually actually unlocks all the doors as normal.

I just wondered if a bad battery can cause all the above issues.

Yes it could - modern electronics are very susceptible to voltage variations, spikes etc in spite of all the voltage regulator circuits that are supposed to be in place

Thanks. I was looking to replace, and recode the CCM. Hopefully this has solved all the issues.

As I have come to know it..11.6V....11.8V is the threshold where things appear to be wrong.

    Same for BMW battery problems.

Austrian cars require very healthy batteries..it is a given.

a low battery and jump start made my old keyfob to no longer work. I thought it was a bad CCM, just replaced with new keyfob from ebay, swaped the immo chip and key blade over. programed remote lock with vagcom.

My car is back to normal now.

The old battery must have been acting as a shunt, besides being low on output.
