After testing the female plug with a tester I only found one of the 4 pins getting power is this normal. When testing directly from the wires of the fan control module there is no power in the unit. Can you please help me ?

Are the fans running at all?
And do they move freely with engine off?

It sounds like the control module is bad, but make sure the fans are ok as well.

    found this.

One pin is constant..I believe the other is a ramp signal that can be looked at with DVM in ac voltage setting, but you really need an o'scope to see it.

I think that the the connector is J293.
    That should help your search.

The heavy 10AWG wires running to the FCU should have power all the time. If they don’t, check fuse S42 (40A)in the ECU plenum.

yes that is correct. the 10AWG brown is ground, the 10AWG red/blue is power for the fans which should always have voltage on it, the smaller red/green wire is switched 12v to the FCM, and the smaller red/white wire is the PWM signal from the ECU. so ignition off you should have 12V to the large power wire, and key on you should have 12V to the small red/green. Fuse S42 is inline with the fan power wire as mentioned earlier and the switched 12v is fed from fuse 4 and the fuse panel in the drivers side dash.
