    Exclamation CETE Lowering Module Issues / Failures RS7

    Hey guys, I am having an issue with the CETE Module that I got second hand from here on the forums. I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue and how it was resolved.

    I currently have a 2014 Audi RS7

    So far I had it installed for over 3 months with no issues until earlier this week. As soon as I started the car, I got the suspension error message on the dash cautioning me to drive below 35mph with a bunch of error messages due to suspension fault (headlight, active lane assist, brake guard etc) until I put the jumper in place of the CETE module.

    So then I realized the CETE module didnt have that red light on indicating power. After shutting the car off with the module off for a few minutes, I put the module back on and the light turned on the module. Everything was working fine until the following morning.

    So I am concluding the module is having some type of power failure or start up failure. Once the module starts working, it works for the whole day turning the car on and off and such. After leaving the car over night, I need to put the jumper back in then wait a while before plugging the module back on for it to start working again.

    Has anyone had this issue before? I tried contacting CETE with no success so I am at a point where I am about to scrap this thing and possibly go for the H&R module. I just need a solution other than running stock, and want to try everything prior to ordering a new module.

    I just sent mine back to Ferdi to evaluate for the same issue. He was very responsive to email and asked me to send it so he could take a look.

    I have the same issue about 3 days ago. Car been sitting in my driveway since. errors will not clear out. Please keep us posted on what you find out.

    Do you happen to have his email? I just disconnected all my connections, reinstalled the app and plugged it back in and the light turns on meaning it is working now... I do believe it will stop working again either later today or tomorrow morning. I have my ASC unit hanging out of the side so I can quickly put the jumper back in so I can at least drive without the warning at factory height but this is becoming cumbersome.

    Try unplugging and replugging it back in. It just may work for the day. As soon as I see the red light between the socket, I know it will work without an issue. Luckily I did not have this happen to me while driving.

    If these issues ever crop up more than a few times it's best to remove the module and plug in the bypass plug. Then contact CETE directly here: [email protected]

    He will 100% take care of you if you calmly explain the issues. He has repaired a few modules over the years for my customers without issue or done firmware upgrades, etc.
