It's Downpipes day for my s6

Finally getting custom downpipes on today, it's a custom job so it's 2 days to measure up install etc. I went for 200 cel gesi sport cats and 3" downpipes.
I am quite excited to hear the car when its finished.

Yeah. The local shop I use is rather good and I've seen their work and it's better than any milltek setup and about £1000 cheaper than pre-made. The cats are better too. 200gesi high flow cats.

I have an s4, so slightly different comparison. I built my exhaust from manifolds back utilizing catless Downpipes, an x pipe, and flowmaster mufflers. Cost roughly $500 for the entire exhaust. Less than the cost of catless Downpipes.

Also had them check the turbos for any visible leaks, oil, coolant or play in the turbine shaft and they said they're fine.

Downpipes installed. Just waiting for stage 2 software loading back on. Also had a full set of rotors and pads and plugs. An expensive day. Got to drive it to the shop for 15 mins. Jesus the sound is intoxicating.

Pez81, those spark plugs are the older style side-gapped plug. I noticed that mine idled smoother after changing to the newer plugs.

Yeah shop said the same thing I have the newer style now. Had the start up issue yesterday. Read that it was common on the D4 S8s and was either a fuel relay, HPFP or drive select module. It's always after the car has been driven and struggles to start but if you give it some gas it's fine. Turbos were checked and are fine I was told. I'd just like a gremlin free car now as otherwise it's brilliant.

Would probably cost $100-200 in shipping. If shipping from Europe, probably better to go with Russian downpipes.

You'd be lucky. There's there's the import duty. Why not get miltek catless I've seen those for £700
